How Daniel Survived In Lion’s Den

This story is about how Daniel got into lion’s den and came out unharmed.

In ancient Babylon king Darius issued a decree that no one could pray to any god or man except him for 30 days.

But despite the decree, Daniel continued to pray 3 times a day.

Daniel’s enemies caught him praying and reported it to king Darius.

The king was distressed because he valued Daniel. Relunctantly, king Darius ordered Daniel to be throw into the lion’s den hoping that Daniel’s God would save him.

The king couldn’t sleep that night worrying about Daniel’s fate in the lion’s den.

In the darkness surrounded by lions, Daniel prayed and trusted in God at the break of dawn.

Next morning, King Darius hurried to the lion’s den. To his amazement, Daniel was alive and unharmed.

Overjoyed, king Darius issued a new decree that everyone in his kingdom should worship God. And those who had falsely accused Daniel were thrown into the lion’s den meeting the fate they had planned for Daniel.
