This is the story of Naaman who took a legendary shower
A great commander of the Syrian army naaman suffered form leprosy. So a young Israeli servant girl spoke to his wife he would be healed if he sees the prophet in Samaria.
So Naaman went to Samaritan prophet Elisha’s house.
When he arrived Elisha told him to wash himself 7 times in the Jordan River.
Naaman was dubious. But he went down to the Jordan River and dipped himself 7 times just as the man of God had told hum.
When Naaman came up from the water from the 7th time, his flesh was restored and he was clean like that of a young boy.
He declared, “Now I know that there is no god in all the world except in Israel. Please accept a gift from your servant.”
But Elisha refused saying, “As surely as the Lord lives whom I serve, I will not accept a thing”.
Elisha blessed Naaman saying, “Go in peace”
Naaman returned to Syria with a new heart and faith.
