This is the story of King Solomon solving questions about two mothers
One day, two women came to King Solomon each claiming to be the mother of the same baby.
The first woman said, “this woman’s baby died in the night and she switched her dead baby with my living one while I slept”.
The second woman countered, “No. The living baby is mine and the dead one is hers”.
After hearing, Solomon ordered to bring his sword and he declared he would cut the baby in two and give half to each woman.
The first woman cried out. “Please my lord, give her the living baby. Do not kill him”.
The second woman said, “Neither I nor you shall have him. Cut him in two!”
Solomon immediately said. “Do not kill the baby. Give him to the first woman. She is his true mother.
The true mother rejoiced holding her baby close grateful for Solomon’s wisdom and justice.
